When you perform at your best you are in the now, and it feels wonderfully freeing. It’s a shared experience between both the performer and the audience. Acting is a craft where messy ends and frayed parts are welcome and are, in fact, required. It is vulnerable and immediate and beautiful. Acting is a deeply personal and yet wholly collaborative art form. It is the time-honored art of storytelling and a necessary part of the human experience.

My daughter has been taking acting lessons with Rachel Luttrell for the past 9 months, and the transformation I’ve seen in her is truly remarkable. Rachel is not just an acting instructor but a mentor who nurtures and cultivates the talents of each student with incredible dedication and passion. From the start, Rachel was able to connect with Isabela. Even though Isabela is shy and reserved, Rachel was able to bring Isabela out of her shell and foster confidence, expression, and creativity in her acting ability. Rachel also encouraged Isabela to analyze scripts, exploring things like why a character might behave the way she does or how to better portray that when acting out the script. I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact Rachel has had on my daughter’s development as an actor and as an individual. I highly recommend Ms. Luttrell to anyone looking for a top-notch acting teacher who genuinely cares about their students’ growth and success.

My daughter first met Rachel during a collaborative vocal and acting camp. My daughter, who had been taking reputable online acting coaching for a couple of years because we could not find anyone on the southside of ATL with true industry knowledge and expertise, came home and said, "Mom! I just learned more from Rachel in an hour than I've learned from anyone else." To say we are thrilled that we found her and that she is located on the southside is an extreme understatement. I cannot recommend her enough.

Mrs. Rachel is so inspiring as an actor and coach. The knowledge she holds about the industry and the way she is able to teach her students through acting games and breaking down scripts is truly incredible. She has helped me grow tremendously in my acting and feel more comfortable in my own skin. The individualized coaching approach she takes helps show significant improvement as an actor. She very quickly noticed my strengths and weaknesses and helped to build my confidence. And most of all, we have so much fun at each session! I always enjoy the lesson, while also learning so much! I am so grateful for Mrs. Rachel and everything she has to offer.

My daughter is taking acting lessons with Rachel and she loves it! She has gained so much skill and confidence since beginning to take acting lessons with Ms. Rachel. She is a kind and encouraging teacher who really knows how to bring out the best in each student, identifying their talents and inspiring them to grow. It’s an amazing opportunity to take lessons from someone who has acted in Hollywood! Highly recommend for anyone at any age looking to learn more about acting!
